Today, I Pause

Today, I pause to  thank God for another day He has given me,
Today, I open my eyes to new possibilities that may come my way,
Today, I embark on a new life journey,
Today, I begin a new page of my life's history book.

Today, is a brand new day I cannot lose,
Today, is a gift from my God Almighty,
Today, is an extended journey of yesterday,
Today, I pause to thank God for another day.
